After a series of meetings with government representatives he has come to the conclusion that they are not serious about acting on the issue, Anna Hazare says
He had ended his four-day hunger strike in April after the government set up a committee to draft the legislation.
Public anger in India has been mounting as the government has faced a series of embarrassments over improper telecoms licensing, illegal land acquisitions and irregularities in staging last year's Commonwealth Games.
He will resume fasting on Aug. 16, Harare told reporters on Thursday.
