Rihanna's styling bill is hair-raising £14,000 a week

Raunchy pop star Rihanna is splashing out an incredible £14,000 a week on one of Hollywood’s leading hair stylists. 

The 23-year-old singer is spending a small fortune on the services of top celebrity stylist Ursula Stephen, who charges £2,000 a day, to help ensure she looks her best.
‘Rihanna likes to pioneer new styles but it’s  costing her a fortune,’ says one of her entourage.
‘She makes several public appearances a week, and the cost soon stacks up.

‘Ursula is a close confidante and they are together all the time.
‘You have to wonder why she insists on keeping such an expensive member of her entourage on the payroll 24/7. Most of these costs are paid for by her management.’
Rihanna has changed her hairstyle 13 times since it was dyed bright red last November, including a huge red afro that earned her the nickname Side-Show Bob after the Simpsons cartoon character.

In 2 weeks of Yemen clashes ‘140 dead’

           At least 140 people have been killed in two weeks of clashes between Yemeni security forces and suspected Al Qaeda gunmen in the Southern city of Zinjibar, a military official said on Monday.

          “At least 80 security officials including soldiers have been killed and more than 200 wounded in clashes with Al Qaeda militants since Zinjibar fell under the (Al Qaeda) network’s grip” in late May, said the military official.

          Security officials say the militants are Al Qaeda fighters but the political Opposition accuses the government of embattled President Ali Abdullah Saleh of inventing a jihadist threat to head off Western pressure on his 33-year rule.
